May 2017 - New Defibrillator Arrives and Staff and Volunteers receive training
Homelands staff and volunteers were delighted to welcome the arrival of a new Defibrillator. We were extremely lucky to have this funded through Fife Charities Trust. Gillian from East Neuk First Responders visited Homelands on 03/05/17 and provided a group of staff and volunteers with CPR and Defibrillator training.
The Defibrillator is housed on the outside of our Paxton Centre and is available in an emergency to all lodge guests, visitors to the Paxton Centre and the general public.
We always hope never to need equipment such as this but it does offer some reassurance that they at hand in an emergency and are a fantastic asset to have.
