Amazing News - Phase 2 of Homelands Commencing Soon

HOMELANDS DELIGHTED TO SEE DREAM BECOMING A REALITY

Lundin Links-based charity, the Homelands Trust, is delighted to announce that this week it has signed a contract with the Hadden Group of Aberuthven, Perthshire to build 5 additional, highly accessible, self-catering lodges to add to their very successful and oversubscribed existing portfolio of 4 accessible self-catering lodges.

The new lodges, designed by Hurd Rolland Architects of Dunfermline, will incorporate all the accessibility features in the Trust’s existing portfolio to make them as accessible as possible for those with disabilities, life limiting conditions, and their carers. The build is due to commence August 16th 2021.

Homelands Trust General Manager, Simon Allan, said “After the covid-related challenges of the last 18 months, we are delighted to be signing a contract with the Hadden Group who will help us realise our vision for 5 further accessible lodges. This second phase will allow us to provide many more desperately needed respite breaks and holidays to those who require the purpose-built, accessible accommodation currently provided by Homelands.”

The Homelands Trust has been fundraising for this project for the last 3 years and is grateful to everyone who has donated or has helped in our fundraising drive, including The Robertson Trust, The Edward Gostling Trust, The Albert Hunt Trust and Charity Bank.
